How can i learn to play guitar fast!!!?

I need to learn to play guitar fast!!

Get two guitars-A practice one and one that sounds good. The practice one has to be an acoustic that is as difficult to play as possible. It helps if it stays in tune, so you have less time tuning and more time practicing. Use the highest gauge strings you can find. This guitar should have really high action, so that it is really hard to press your fingers against the fingerboard. This will help build your finger strength more quickly. Just play every note you can over and over again. As for the other guitar, just get whatever you want that sounds good. Go to Ultimate-guitar for tabs, because its the only site that is legal that I know of. Music theory will come with lessons, but it is optional.

Learn To Play Electric Guitar

learn to play electric guitar
easiest way to learn to play electric guitar?

Alright im 12 and have very little experience with guitar (unless guitar hero counts) and i wanted to know how to play a couple of notes because i kinda snuck a peak at the early presents!! lol please help!

Hi!

The best way – if your on a budget – is to have a guitar playing friend (perhaps a guitar playing teacher at your school or a relative) showing you a few tips and tricks to get started.

Be advised though that you will be better off by having some qualified instruction as soon as possible. It is very easy to pick up bad habits, and these may be harder to correct later on.

Your best option will to have someone help you get hold of a beginner guitar book or DVD, or better still one of the many online courses out there. All these options do cost money, of course.

The absolute best (and unfortunately, most expensive) is to be taught by a private guitar teacher. But don’t worry – some really great players are self taught :-)

I wish you all the best with you guitar playing!

Is it true that you know how to play the electric guitar when you learn to play the acoustic guitar?

That’s what my cousin told me. Oh, and another thing: is it true that when older people learn to play guitar, they usually forget what they learned, so the best time to learn is when you’re young?

The theory of guitar, likes chord structure and such is the same for acoustic or electric guitar. Acoustic is harder to play because the sound is ultmately produced by your playing rather than any amplification. Acoustic guitars are less forgiving when it comes to chording and plucking patterns. As for forgetting when you try to learn as an older player there may be some truth to that but the primary reason to learn any instument when you are younger has less to do with your age as it does in your muscle and bone development. The dexterity of playing is much harder as you grow older because your bones and muscles are having to operate in a way that they haven’t had to before. A young player will be able to adapt to the rigors of playing an instument like guitar, piano or drums and will usually be able to play the rest of their lives because their bodies have compensated for the stresses of the instrument.

how to play blues guitar
Will it be a wise decision to start learning guitar and quit playing bass?

I RECENTLY CAME ACROSS THE ALBUM CONTINUUM OF JOHN MAYER AND INSTANTLY FELL WITH THE GUITAR WORKS ON ‘SLOW DANCING..’N'BOLD AS LOVE’,EVER SINCE THEN ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY STUFF LIKE THAT.i KNOW HOW TO PLAY BASS GUITAR I HAVE BEEN PLAYING IT FOR OVER TWO YEARS NOW N I AM NOT BAD AT IT.BUT I AM IN A DILEMMA N CANT B SURE OF WHETHER I SHOULD SHIFT FROM BASS TO GUITAR.BUT FOR NOW I REALLY WANNA PLAY BLUES ON GUITAR.WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You can play both… But remember, for every good bass player, there’s at least 100 average guitar players.
